Fwd: [DNSOP] Last Call: <draft-ietf-dnsop-onion-tld-00.txt> (The .onion Special-Use Domain Name) to Proposed Standard

This might be of interest to some. The IETF is considering adding .onion to the list of delegated special domain names. This shows how anonymity in the internet through TOR and such projects has become a major theme even at the protocol parameters level. Example of delegated special use domain names are example.
