Hey happy ones, A friend of mine has two sites he had put up for ministry work and no longer finds them attractive.....they need improvement especially on functionality and graphics. As a web/graphics dev what would you advise him to put up/add or change. Beautiful mothers: 1. The screaming pink background is way too strong, it steals attention away from the content! I would make a softer, more invisible shade of pink, if pink at all. 2. There is quite a substantial space wasted between "making 9 months seem like 9 days" and the main body content. This causes 3 below. 3. There is too much vertical scrolling. I remember there being a "guideline" that 80% of the content should be viewable without any scrolling. 4. Whilst pink is a good choice of color seeing as the main site audience is the female folk, I would probably still not use so much of it. 5. The top banner has some nice rounded corners, but most of other boxes in the content are sharp corners, for consistency, I would use one type of corners throughout. 6. The main content (disregarding the left side section) has only one picture, I would put more context aware pictures Tonny G This seems like a personal site thus my opinions don't count :-)
