Guys, First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes. First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes.
Secondly, PointBlank is meant to be funny. So what you see/hear may not "entirely" reflect the way we speak in Uganda... that wouldn't be funny, you know?

First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes.
Secondly, PointBlank is meant to be funny. So what you see/hear may not "entirely" reflect the way we speak in Uganda... that wouldn't be funny, you know?

Diction and accents are a matter of locality or would say lugha ya mama. You might think that Ugandan accent is funny wait untill you speak to he who english is the mother tongue and he would laugh at your funny accent. Thinking of which even in UK they have differents accents depending again on locality. Albert, Ugandan accent is not a disability to be excused by education standards. It is a matter of who you are. First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes.
Secondly, PointBlank is meant to be funny. So what you see/hear may not "entirely" reflect the way we speak in Uganda... that wouldn't be funny, you know?

BTW, Wakoli was a high school principal. I wonder how those who passed through hois school speak! And for those who went a nursery school in some rural areas, do you remember how some numbers were pronounced? One (wanu), Three (tree/trii) Eight (heit) etc Words such as up (hap) down (ndaun) go ( ngo), ear was intermittently used with hear/here, to mean the same thing... First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes.
Secondly, PointBlank is meant to be funny. So what you see/hear may not "entirely" reflect the way we speak in Uganda... that wouldn't be funny, you know?

First of all, in Uganda, people have different accents, depending on which tribe they are from... and more so, depending on the level of education. Yes.
Secondly, PointBlank is meant to be funny. So what you see/hear may not "entirely" reflect the way we speak in Uganda... that wouldn't be funny, you know?

The ones I’ve met have a wheng when they speak….almost sounds better than our Kenyan speakers J Maybe those are the ones in their ‘Braeburn’ and ‘Braeside’ ya huko.
Listening to the reporter is even more hilarious!! Kwanza when they pause and she gives her sarcastic synopsis of what the guy is jabbering about…… totally LOL!!
