HP PDAs vs Blackberry vs Nokia smart phones

Hello, I urgently need advise concerning PDAs. * HP vs Blackberry vs Nokia smart phones - what is best? * Service provider terms and conditions - Blackberry had some terms and conditions from Safcom/Celtel. Are those restrictions still there? Someone please inform me a reputable Blackberry / HP PDA/ Nokia authorized dealer shop. I need to buy a few units. Thanks and kind regards, -- J. N. 'Which is the best' is not really a useful question without considering 'for what'. Each of those devices has strenghts and weaknesses in various areas. On Fri, Sep 18, 2009 at 12:39 PM, David Mugo <raidarmax@gmail.com> wrote:

Nokia E series. The most underutilised business device. Talk of editing of office docs, voip over wlan/3g, push mail. They got it all. I prefer those with the full qwerty keys. -- i dislike capital letters +254 722 278 106

JN, I would go for the E71.The phone has got all it takes for email, and whatever else a business person on the go might need. I think there was a thread kitambo kidogo that focused on these.....Phares any clues? 2009/9/18 Ken Simiyu <kensimiyu@gmail.com>

E71 is an excellent device. The battery discharge cycle ouclasses other smart phones, even with data, bluetooth and wifi connections enabled. The speaker phone is amazing. The only 2 flaws I found with it was the contacts i.e sometimes contacts on caller ID do not match. A workaround thus was to add +254 to most contacts. Also, Nokia uses a special sync cable so one has to carry this with them. Me thots.. On Sun, Sep 20, 2009 at 10:58 PM, James Muendo <timrick@gmail.com> wrote:

My opinion: if primary function is anything remotely centering on email, bb is king. They are the market leaders, innovations on push email for instance is the hallmark in bb and is only now being emulated by the rest. If however you need an all rounder, then the e-series is your phone. Nokia push mail service is still young and the fact that its future looks like a double billing model, where you pay for the bandwidth and then pay for the push service. . . Horrible! So on the high end, choose between the bb bold and the nokia communicators (50k range ) mid range you have the e60-70s vs the bb pearl. On 9/21/09, aki <aki275@googlemail.com> wrote:

I've been on HP for over a year now, however, depending on the device, you have totally different experiences. Focus on what features you want, e.g. Push Email, GPS etc, then use a site like PhoneArena.com or GSMArena.com to get full specs of phones with said features. Then a comparison can be done...
