Powerline - Any Future Prospects?

Sometimes back, there were rumors that we could get Internet via KPLC powerlines. I wonder how that went? Was just googling and came across this: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/UK/en/promo/Promotion-Powerline-UK <http://www.linksysbycisco.com/UK/en/promo/Promotion-Powerline-UK>..which has reminded me, although I feel the uptake would not be as good as anyone might think, given the blackouts record that we have in the country - oh, and the reliance on rainfall to get power;) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

@ Wash, i thought so, i think service providers need to stick to their core business, the problem arises when there is change of guard in the institution and you find a CEO who might not appreciate for instance what internet over power line is, its possible but i am a bit skeptical based on our track record on managing institutions more so in the public sector.
