Slippery ground, right there! tampering with IMEI is a serious crime. That said, yes, IMEIs can be altered... but I've never contemplated trying that out - whether for research, POC or otherwise :-) Tony.

Wonder if at the network level we can be able to see both where settings are configured. I know it shows the masked one in CDRs making it hard to track phones.
