Its more of their convenience than the unit-users.Imagine going back to the whole country registering peoples unit-IMEI .At the same time capturing their signatures for legal purposes.Now they can simply let you commit yourself as the owner of the unit and ready to accept some arbitrary terms.These terms can change millions times just to keep you within the frame. By the way you can accept or disagree with the terms yet you dont have a copy.And the next amendment of the law grants law enforcement agent to act limitlessly. Its better when it works on your side when you have a problem ,but will always be against you.With this age of unlimited memory capacities.Your data is everything (Data is gold) Hope you are not affraid when someone can get enough intelligence on prospectus voters behaviours just before the next election.and bang..hits the right button.
