HP Compaq 500b SATA Drivers
Hi All Anyone know where to get the exact drivers? I can be able to find the right ones on the intel website. HP are hopeless, telling me they dont have the drivers for their own PC! The chipset is Intel 41 Express with ICH7 - with a Seagate 320 GB SATA 3 HDD. I just cant find the correct SATA controller that works with Windows 7 or even Windows XP after slipstreaming the drivers. Any help much appreaciated James James K. Just get the Xp Sp3 with Sata drivers and it will work. U can then activate it with your license. win 7 should work, unless you got Some OS on it, which you should then format. -- with Regards: Send from : just-a-Phone

I installed windows xp which had no ahci drivers by downloading the drivers and added them to windows xp image using nlite. its simple and works like magic. you can try it.if you experience any issues am an email away.
