Hi, I would like to know the following. 1.which frameworks are bank websites in Kenya built on. 2.What security features should bank websites have in place. Thank you -- Daniel Kimotho Imagine Digital www.imaginedigital.co.ke Imagine Digital-Progressive Imagination

There are about 44 banks in Kenya, each with it different kind of websites i presume. So there's no straight answer to that question. There's however a chrome web browser extension, built by, that can help you get the specific platform for each bank's website. With respect to security, there are must have security for almost all websites which again depends on lot other factors such as platform, servers etc. The specifics depends on the service that the banks wishes to offer through their website. You can also check https://wappalyzer.com/ . It can help you check on most technologies used to build websites. It has Firefox and Chrome extensions. On Tue, Feb 24, 2015 at 10:30 AM, Brian Monyi via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Are you talking about banks' websites in general or the internet banking? This is because for some (many, I don't know) banks, the internet banking bit is usually a separate web app probably on a separate infrastructure, platform, etc. The same could apply for any other third party service integrated into the website On Tue, Feb 24, 2015 at 11:40 AM, Vincent Mosoti via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Hi, thanks guys for your contribution.I did the checks on a few banks and noticed that they use word press and general Html frameworks. I also noticed that the internet banking section is separate,as mentioned by Bwana Lawi. My conclusion is that you can use any frameowrk, cms or technology to handle the marketing information aspects on the front end provided that security measures are in check then build the internet banking section separately.
