Hi skunks, I'm in a fix: I've been staring at a computer performing a system restore for more than an hour. It's stuck at the "finishing restore" point and there's just flashes of harddisk activity every so often. Why I'm doing the system restore is because the Windows refuses to get to the desktop; it just remains at the welcome screen immediately after login. NB: The windows is running inside virtualbox hosted on a Linux mint box. There's an older virtual windows 7 on the same box which is booting up just fine.
