In 2012 we will be woken up from a peaceful stupor from our poiticians who will remind us of the communities we come from , cause us to hack each other therfore digital TV will be the last of priorities. On a more serious note I do not think this is likely because there is as yet no station that has mentioned of plans to go digital..not even KBC. The other theory may be that most broadcasters may piggy back on DSTVs infrastructure who plan to roll out HD later in the year. Talking of DSTV, I realized only recently that they shall be using their current decoders for a long time to come, to avoid "piracy" - their words. I would have expected they would allow people to use standard digital decoders where one needed to do was to get a DSTV card and slot it in, or GTV for that matter.
