You will sometimes get that response if you havent bought the bundle, or paid cause it cant authenticate your username and password. Alternatively, post your wvdial.conf here; and append the output you get form the terminal when you run wvdial.

I tried under Ubuntu 9.10 and am nog getting any carrier response, though I am sure it must be possible (I was able to connect under 9.04 I believe). I am hoping to use the Ubuntu box as an internet gateway for my LAN. Orange's deal of 1 KES per 1Mb seems to be one of the better deals.
