Work expectation

The client is a small Danish company, therefore, the tasks can quickly change and projects get re-prioritized. You should be able to work on multiple tasks/jobs at a time and be willing to stop task A, to support an urgent feature request or a bugfix on task B.  You will be expected to do customer support and troubleshooting, when browser troubles occur, that 1st level support cannot handle. You should also be creative and be able to quickly understand the  product and understand the business case of the product. The successful candidate will have a direct influence on the product development and so their opinion and constructive criticism will be valued and expected.

The profile:

• JS and AJAX (80% of work requirement)

• XSL, XML, XSL-FO (a lot of server-side styling, so this is an everyday knowledge requirement)

• HTML, CSS

• Classic ASP but gradually transitioning to .NET over next year.

• Database understanding is important, however you will not be actively doing database development.

Browser compatibility  and optimization on both Windows and Mac (primarily for Safari Browser). It’s very important you have Mac browser optimization experience.

Min. 4 years experience in frontend web development
