While away i have been educating my sorry @$$,
I downloaded an updated satellites.xml with all the satellites including intelsat (They are soooooooo many!) , I tried entering the frequencies you gave me but i cannot get anything on that sattelite, currently doing a blindscan to try get the transponders and see what i can get.
.. so far seen a number of transponders...

You might be having a problem on the two satellites because polarization. The two satellites are on circular polarization, therefore you need dielectric plate.
Instead of pointing to either of above satellite, just point to Intelsat 22 at 72.1°E (C band - circular polarization. No KU beam covering Africa).
Incase you are in Nairobi point to below:
Azimuth = 91.17 Degrees
Elevation = 49.95 Degrees
Channels on IS 22: all MPEG 4
KBC Channel 1
EATV 5
