@Richard - All the jobs I have advertised here have been filled up either by people here or those who are referred from here, so maybe those are the one's to give their testimonials. Unfortunately too, every job is specific with its requirements and if you ever applied for one once and I never considered you for that, I will not go back looking for your CV when another opportunity comes up so you will just have to apply coz maybe you are now different in many aspects - maybe more experience, maybe a better attitude (if once you went for an interview and never got the job it mostly boils down to your attitude) or many other things. I think someone looking for a job should constantly be updating their CV's and send it as many times as possible whenever their are specifics. I, for example, need interns every 2 or 3 months - and am not going to look at CV's I received 1 year back (maybe thats the role of HR), but will only look at CV's I have 2 weeks to the other internship ending. Another spanner in the works, could any developers do a site where students can leave their CV's, testimonials and availabilities and then employers can just check this and call them? Don't tell me to go to the schools coz I just think this is an opportunity! ./Ok3ch On Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 6:11 PM, Memusi <tonatech@gmail.com> wrote:
Okechukwu you said you would give priority to CCNX applicants coz of #experience. Look back ,after school you also needed experience,so consider all sir.

Okechukwu,
We appreciate the opportunities that keep sharing on this mailing list.
I would however suggest that at times you consider short listing from the CVs you already have.
It would also be great if at least we hear testimonials of those who had ever gotten jobs from your adverts.
Otherwise, your efforts is highly appreciated without much concern on the outcomes.
Richard

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for the overwhelming responses I have received, I even have no idea if I'll have all the time to shortlist, but I have captured all CV's sent and will do my best to sieve through them.
On a curious note, I asked for entry level and I get CV's with people who have worked for so long and even have CCNP's, kwani we not giving a chance to these small boys/girls from Campus, or is it that jobs are too scarce? There is clearly no way I would consider someone without experience over someone with CCNP and has worked all over if the budget is within all their means ;-)

Hi All,
Am looking for an ICT Assistant. The job is entry level though basic skills of internetworking and systems is a requirement. CCNA is an advantage and the job experience is not so big an issue. Please send me any CV's by end of day Friday. Any received after that will not be considered.
