Hi,

Thank you all for your contribution. After calling Mitsumi, Ravenzo and other popular computer vendors, I've decided to get the displays, dell ultrasharp u2711 monitors, at Jumia (or one of the many small computer shops in town). I've got a bunch of numbers just from this email exchange for those shops.

As far as my googling and calling has gone, no where else can I find 2560x1440 displays except in the heart of the CBD (except, of course, for one of those "5k-retina" mac displays)

That's not what I meant. I do know the USB. DVI (new standard) and Display-port.

What I meant is that these monitors have USB inputs, allowing you to plug in your USB devices on the monitor the way one would do on a PC. That's besides other fancy features. Although I doubt that which I saw does 2560x1440 or 3840 x 2160. I just hope the Warugongo guy would be better placed to advise badly named folk - John Doe Smith Kamau KipNg'etich Jones :)
