If I break my GN III, my watch becomes useless until I get a replacement?? I think I need a device that complements, not one that relies on, another. IMHO, it's not yet time for these Samsung wearables, or it's just a mistake they rushed out something that's not matured.

I am at Berlin for the launch of the Galaxy Note III, Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 last night. Galaxy Gear is a Galaxy Note III compliment in that you don't need to remove the smartphone from the pocket to do basic things like read email notifications and make calls.

I am not linking to my blog today, anyone knows where to find it when they need it. We had a conversation at launch where some were saying that the average Galaxy Note III buyer has a watch and they may find it hard switching it for the Gear.

What do you guys think?

FYI my twitter avi has me wearing one.
