Is it a Kenyan thing that the least helpful guys are the loudest, self idealists who offer you solutions without giving you any !?

Yes, you will still require an Internet connection in order to do a yum update after the installation since the packages can be even more than six months old (and bugs are discovered and patched almost daily)
