I think we are mixing issues a bit. Lets not confuse Private and Public entities with Private Limited Company and Public Limited Company. First, a company, whether privately or publicly owned, is a legal person and has rights to its own "privacy". We humans (persons) or other companies (legal persons) should not be privy to their private information unless they offer it to us. What Ikua meant is that Safcom is a "Private" entity and not a "Public" entity. Example of a "Public entity" is the ECK or KNHRC.. its has Public offices like.. the "The Chairman" .. the appointment to that position if of interest to the public and hence we should be privy to such info ... But .. A managerial position in Safcom is not a Public Office ... hence the process and indeed their decision making criteria is private information owned by Safcom
