+1 for DLNA/AllShare on Samsung...that thing works wonders on and off a Samsung smartphone. I managed to hook up mine to the LAN and I can play stuff off a free DLNA server on Ubuntu...no need for a WD TV... Feature-wise I'd go for a Samsung LED over Sony any day.
