[Skunkworks] tracking of a lost laptop

I recently had a laptop stolen.Its make is HP Compaq presario cq60-222e1.I had not insured it (who does if its a persnal laptop)and did not have any tracking software installed.Is it possible to track the laptop over the internet.any help will be appreciated.
