Hello Crystal, I believe first your PBX need to have support for playing audio files when there is a "call on hold". You then need a "system" that integrates with your PBX to play the audio files. Some configuration needs to be done. I am only commenting on this because I'm currently undertaking such a task with an Avaya IP PBX. In my case, the "system" is quite an expensive one. It's what is called VoiceMail Pro. It does IVR/AutoAttendant/Voicemail, plus more, and I can for sure just get someone with a nice voice and record whatever I want through my telephone headset. For some setups, there are companies that provide a gadget that plays the audio files, which you connect to the PBX via an audio cable. A friend of mine is actually using Windows Media Player running on a laptop for this purpose. Just set MP to play the file in a loop. In your case, I believe you do need a professional company to record the audio file(s) for you. Talk to Kingfisher Consultants - 375 4619. I haven't used them, but I know a company that has used them and I am happy with what I hear when I call the company, hence the reference.
