1. I would advice advice a carousel for the featured articles ( the thumbnails at the bottom), otherwise if we have a fixed number
of five articles what will happen when there is need to increase the number? or rather what happens to yesterday's featured articles...I
might be needing the today. Something like http://www.agilecarousel.com/carousel_example.htm will do.
2. Still on the thumbnails, allow equal spacing at the top, left and right of the images. Well enough space between the images and text
below them will be nice too.
3. The 1st listing under Daily Nation's latest news should be where 'Motorists set for smooth ...' is. Spacing.
4. I'd prefer one color for notifications / links as opposed to using red for email notifications and dark blue for Save Location | Make default.
Actually I would try and play around with shades of yellow used at the weather part, rather than introducing a strange color altogether.
5. For the background, use a linear gradient as opposed to a radial one. With a linear gradient bg you will use just a small slice of the
whole image and repeat it horizontally. With radial gradient I suppose you will have to use the whole image as your bg. Or just use color :)
