We can hang out all the dirty linen, but that won't solve the problem. Since we all can't get jobs as civil servants, why don't we play a more pro-active role.... 1. Petition the govt 2. We all changa 20/=/PP and create a web presence to serve as an example e.g gokewebsitesweneed.org gokereloaded.org etcetc then have a selected bunch volunteer to develop state of the art sample pages of websites that need upgrading... with a What it looks like - What it SHOULD look like section- I'll be more than glad to develop a secure ERP sample solution that the MFA can adopt(if it already hasn't) - instead of having to pay air fare for govt officials to carry bulky files around. I'm sure everyone on this list can contribute something unique. Something that the future generation can look back and say, 'The techies those days didn't just rant, they did something about it!'
