Why do I feel that you will be forced to remove the disk, mount it on another machine and do the Scandisk? Also looks like you may be in for recovery using your last backup.

Good afternoon,

My Toshiba Satellite C660-14K Laptop does not boot up on powering on. It displays a "Unmountable Boot Volume" error.

Is there  anyway I can restore the machine to the last settings without a CD? A link where I can download the Boot Image etc?

I've tried Safe mode but it won't work.

thanks

Solomon
