Seagate FreeAgent (portable) - 3years, several arguments with gravity<br>
(gravity won everytime), not even the cable shows any signs of wearing<br>
out.<br>
Seagate GoFlex (desktop) - 2years, still hums beautifully<br>
WD - none lasted 1 year<br>
