In 20 years there has not been a single successful corruption case tried in Kenya, with a conviction. The so called '4th Estate' is itself soaked in corruption, stories and features are done on the basis of bribes and dishing out of favours. Truth be told we have no help in the current set of institutions and unless we look at new means and tools we'll be discussing corruption and depleted resources, with no excuse why we did nothing. Hilary Clinton did make a very interesting remark, young people (the real stakeholders of the future) must use tools like twitter to report, and highlight corruption in real-time. Whereas am not big in tweets, can we harness 'ushahidi-like' tools to deal with graft? Initially it has to be name and shame but in the longterm it'll have to be actionable. I will not claim to have the solution but can we mash-up ideas and see what we can do about it. I am so tired of talk-shows and I have participated in them and tele is full of them. Can we DO something tangible? What say you? Kiania -- [Asentric Consulting Ltd] If a man has in himself the soul of a slave will he not become one no matter what his birth .... -Richest Man in Babylon
