The world bank and donor communities serve no-one else's interest other than their host countries. Otherwise the refugee crises would have been long over and there wouldn't be any 'developing countries' . if the worldbank was genuine in fixing africa then they would have done what the Chinese are doing, provide funding and technical expertise in building infrastructure. Back in '06 when there was food shortage, the president clearly stated that the   problem was not lack of food, it was logistics for transport and distribution. Build roads, Railway lines, Ports etc and most of the wastage in the agricultural areas ceases and farmers get value for effort. All these years of Worldbank funding have just sprouted an NGO sector that only applies Elastoplast to bone fractures.

@AKI i think you have overused this word "Innovate". Im convinced i no longer know what it means, thanks to you...

@Brainiac, you've hit a laughter cord here :-)))))  . Haiya, according to google, Kenya Innovation = About 18,100,000 results. Now I'm just adding to the final of those results. I too no longer know what innovation means except a definition from the EU Innovation clip.

But seriously, WB and Donor Communities need to look and work out ways where the govt officials and politicans are removed from the entire process, leaving Citizens empowerment to decide on what projects need money that can build future nations.

Me thots. :-)
