Its simple really. How about doing it cabbies style. .... Go with a container at the gas station, ask the attendant to fill it up. then proceed to load it urself. 5lts bought...5lts confirmed! On Thu, Dec 16, 2010 at 1:01 PM, Peter Karunyu <pkarunyu@gmail.com> wrote:
I once saw some top gear race where the three were in these cars which could indicate their fuel use as the race progressed, I am sure the ECU's in modern rides have this data in some form.
On the other matter; I think the main challenge of a fuel price tracker would be the part of updating it with data. Short of hiring a boda boda guy to go round every morning collecting this information, how else can u collect it?

by the way, are there vehicles that actually tell you youve been given say 5 liters WITHIN THE CAR? cause im starting to think the next frontier will be nipping the liter and stretching it to the limit (lower limit).
You just have to "know" your car. With some testing, you get to learn how much you get out of it per litre, on what conditions as these vary with load, tyre pressure, driving style...
