Those US costs are on contract. Without contract is about $600 (almost ksh 50,000).
I understand Orange need to make their money, especially on prepaid.
What I wonder is why Orange sell it so expensive on postpaid - 20k - yet their network isn't 3G

Cost are being subsidized by the carrier.  Not sure if Orange KE are
in it for the long term...
