I agree with you @Okechukwu. Apple's selling point in future will no longer be on the quality of hardware but rather on the quality and capability of its software. Surveys indicate that Apple's App Store is expected to have more than 21 billion downloads by the end of 2012. This indicates a strong demand for mobile app content. At the end of the day, businesses compete to maintain and gain customers. Apple's App Store accounts for 25 % of available apps in all stores (from research by Gartner). The aim now, will be to use in-app purchase business models to convert casual app users into paying customers and then retain them with good user experience and continued product updates (furthermore, it is not practical for them to expect that the clients will always part with their hard-earned stash every time they release a new iPhone with features that are not revolutionary as compared to the devices they alreay have). This will ensure recurrent revenue streams (which churning out of new iPhones will not address) because popularity surges during release dates will eventually wane as innovation driven by the late Steve Jobs is expected to be difficult to maintain. Therefore, to sum it up, in-app(i.e. software) performance and design will now be the most important factor for apple when attracting new users and keeping them satisfied.

Apple did not show any significant change in iphone, mobile is quite important while nothing much happened save for a line of apps on the app drawer thanks to the height increase on the device and LTE ability on quite many bands(I wonder if that would work on our networks -stand corrected) . nothing changed design-wise over the last 3 phones.
Apple devices working with each other is not a new thing and the fact that they are speaking about these just shows creativity has come to an end for Apple.

Tim Cook made a very interesting comment on why Apple is the leader: "What places Apple way ahead of the competition is how all these devices work so well together" - This is one comment non-Apple users will never understand, that's why u still looking for the wow factor. Then the website adds: "iPhone5. The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone"

Apparently, Apple strives to beat itself for every successive product. Someone even commented that the iPhone5 is so useless compared to the iPhone6 which will be slimmer, faster & more value!

For an Apple follower, this is definitely a getter!

Nothing impressive about this one! Is it just me or is Apple slowly losing their 'swag'?

I am rather underwhelmed by this new iPhone. But then again maybe its because am more inclined towards android. But first look the onl improvement is a heftier processor and improved battery life. Good enough reason to ditch the 4S?
