But Gnome 3 was so bad that we had to have Cinnamon to bring sanity back? How could they make a touch interface for a non-touch device where the mouse still reigned supreme. Before Gnome extensions and Cinnamon, Gnome 3 was very tiring, you got tired of unnecessarily moving the mouse for tasks that could be made simpler, and were once simpler. I hope this is not what Windows 8 has done.
