No!  This will not work! :)

Cisco PoE standard is active 48V, 802.3af.

Ubiquiti Nanostations are passive +24VDC PoE.

Ubiquiti makes an adapter that allows a Ubiquiti device to use 802.3af PoE:  http://www.ubnt.com/accessories/instant-8023af-adapters/  You would need one on every radio.

Newer Ubiquiti products in the Titanium line, like the RocketM5-Ti and RocketM2-Ti are 802.3af and some of the newest Unifi APs are 802.3af as well...but most of the AirMax line is 24V passive PoE.

If the Cisco equipment supports the PoE class of the Ubiquiti Nanostation, then there is no problem. Just the right voltage and current is what matters.

Listers,

I'm planning to use the PoE functionality in the Cisco equipment to power the Nano stations. Im doing a wireless bridge over two buildings LAN's. Before I undertake the mission, are there any limitations?

Kind Regards
Peter
