I'm also having the same kind of a problem with my Zain Kenya modem. Since yesterday, I've tried using the modem on my laptop but I can't go online. The taskbar icon that shows internet connectivity, is blue with a yellow icon. On placing my mouse over the icon, it says limited connection. On using the modem on a PC in the same environment, it works perfectly well without any hitches. Apparently, the settings on the laptop have not been changed. Any help on this? Profile manager Click New
Check static option APN: ug.celtel.com or ke.celtel.com depending your are using which sim-card
Authentication
Access number *99#
save your configuration with a name of your choice say Zain
Click on the mobile partner enter PIN click connect on the profile you configured say zain
