
Hmmm, in my experience, Applets work differently on IE as compared to other browsers....but it works better in IE....the issue is not the browser performance, its the lightest browser there. We have found that using IE to run java code in the background works quite well; other browsers need tweaking on the code (speaking from a Vista point of view)
