Every time I see these requests, I always think how important it is to get an SSD these days. Now that they are about 12k-15k Ksh, I think it's really important to include them on midlevel and better computers.

In this case, definitely moving to a dual core chip like this to afford the SSD drive:

Anyway, that's just my two cents. I went to SSD 3 years ago and it was expensive then, but now it seems like a minimum requirement for a machine onto which you'd put a quad core Ivy Bridge CPU.
