Hi guys,

Need some help, my operating system crashed and I can't repair it coz
the ROM drive doesn't work. I cannot access the hard disk using serial
port since it's an old model laptop (my brother told me) :/...
I really need to get some stuff/work off the hard disk ASAP. What
quick options do it have? Please help

There are two ways ;)

1. Any computer repair shop can handle this at a cost, provided the HDD has no defects.

2. You can open up the laptop remove the HDD determine is its SATA or IDE then buy a USB-to-<SATA/IDE> connector for less than 2000/=. This will allow you to use it on a any PC/MAC as an External drive.
