Here is my piece of advise Mwangi.
You may know something that has great potential that no one else does in the industry, or at least that is what you believe. There are many small companies out there that have some capacity to handle the kind of stuff that I think the partners that you are dealing ith need. These people are looking for opportunities and what you need is to package your idea into a business plan. Then carefully choose who to approach, while trying to cover yourself to make it hard for anyone to steal your idea. That is possible because if the foreign partners see that you can pull it off then they will give you some guarantees.

I am talking about negotiation here. But if you tell it all on a list like this it will go so fast you will not know what hit you.

And as someone said, do your research properly. Maybe the local boys know about the technology already, only that they have not implemented.

Its not an easy thing, the situation you find yourself in.
