Disclaimer, i dont work there,
This is what happens with banks; when u open an account with bank X, in this case coop, they get all ur details in hard copy. They input all the soft details like name, address, etc as u wait to be allocated an acc number. Details like signatures, thumb prints, etc are sent to their head offices for scanning then distributed to their branches for updating. This physical movement of your signature takes time.

Anyone eva been messed by this bank? They keep telling me its not my signature. I'm my twin brother. Stupid bank, are they victims of fraud or sth?
