Hi,

The server is finally here! (applause!)

The Specs (Generally):
4x500GB
16GB RAM
AMD CPU
2U rack mount

Financials:
Total cost was ~ 105k (cost of server, shipping)
We had a total of 92k for contributions from guys. Thanks alot everyone!
The shortfall was covered for the moment - though if any one feels 'sufficiently philanthropic'....

For now, what remains is setup and migration from the existing server - need help for this - guys who can take up things and run with them.

What is it for?
What would really be useful to have on the server - it's a community resource so anyone can contribute. So far:
1) Mailing List (lists.my.co.ke)
2) Blog (blog.my.co.ke)

Other questions, comments, suggestions are welcome - will be answered - in time.
