We just decided to mature in tandem with the OS :) Microsoft os quite receptive of such feedback and we do give it to them so that guys like you can later enjoy... I don't use it so much as it runs on a Desktop while I actively use a laptop which has 8.1

A subsequent Windows update resolved the problem. I am now on Build 10074 which runs a lot more smoothly.
