But at the moment there is no sure way of knowing what is showing in the cinemas unless you buy a paper that might be correct and/or you are lucky to get disappointed when u got to the screenings. So an app that allows those who go to the movies to share what is currently showing, when you do, you get a badge, kinda like in 4square..... @Paul, nice idea. That is why I say it is us who hold back the Kenyan consumer from advances into a modern electronic era. Sitting on ideas helps no one, over the years I've shared some too and hope people used them. I saw one of them on the KICTB loans list i.e "missing persons" and am grateful that people will take them ahead. Sometime I wish we had a financial pool or a rotating fund, so that some of these ideas can materialize, so I'd rather read that a KE company so and so have progressed far into the electronic age and not read that external comanpies see a huge untapped market potential of the electronic advancement of the kenyan consumer. Even if they do, let them compete at similar technology levels because we got the f..king brains too to do things on par. We are not handicapped in any way at all. Even if someone stole your idea, the bottomline is that it will take strong commitments to sustain the entire rollout and support its life span, so its not a quick get rich scheme. It would be fool hardy for anyone to think so.What am still disppointed by is some idea I floated some years back about the e-Museums and saw some company pitch something similar as theirs I think in last years KICTB funds. They got funded and I think nothing ever happened. So the final loss is to kenyans. All those who tap into this list looking for ideas alone should know that there is not a single get rich quick scheme. If you want to make it a success, you will need to put in the hard work and also sustain the apps life span.I wish you success with your idea. :-)
