
ntdetect.sys ntldr boot.ini .. i think those are the main files you'd need [i'll have to confirm. am on win 7 now]. i did loose my boot files a few times, and i'd hook up that HD to another comp, copy the boot files from that comp and presto! it would be booting again ... am not sure the above would work if it was hal.dll missing though :) On 9/21/10, john maina <jonmaina8715@gmail.com> wrote:
