Not server farm, but an actual farm , you know? Soil, animal poop and puff adders. Hello skunks, My farm is very remote, i have very spotty network (safaricom and in other spots airtel) and for a long time i found my phone looking for gprs signal in the best of locations. But data is not what im worried about, its voice. Who knows of a way of boosting cellular signal? Or handset with (ahem) adaptive antennae that would "improve" reception? Or cellular repeaters? (Is there even such a thing). I am also looking for a workaround, that involves redirecting when offline to one number, which is permanently in an area with good network. And then somehow routing through an ip network or maybe ham radio so i can receive calls from anywhere in the farm.... I am willing to do a wifi blanket, but devices and a layout that would make my routing ideas is still out of my head... Anyone better knowledgeable to suggest an approach / design? Sent from my iPad
