[Skunkworks] Work for Java (or modern language) programmer with Accounting background

A friend would like an accounting system he currently has to be converted to a modern programming language. I suggested Java. If you are interested please send me (off the list) a profile of software you have worked on and your experience with Accounting. If you do not have an accounting background then you need to work with someone who does.   The accounting software is customized to their business so he would rather not use existing generic accounting programs.   8~)
