You may be able to simply go to the Verizon site and properly unlock it there (or call them). Peter, get a gevey Sim or an R sim. WCDMA Verizon phones will not work in Kenya though. GSM? Pay the 70 USD and wait for the unlock. It's better than using the above interposers.
