if all you want is a simple / straightforward setup - i would remove the dlink router from the mix since the admin desktop can be setup to do routing. activate dhcp on the admin box, setup ip-masquerading (which is basically NAT or Network Address Translation) and then your setup would look like : Internet <--> USB Modem <--> Admin Desktop <--> Ethernet <--> D-Link Switch <--> LAN Machines
