No you cant the ps3 is way ahead. I dont need a cable to connect my laptop it streams data from it. Youtube and pandora are also on the ps3 among others. It also does 1080p hd and other formats through hdmi Has a usb port to conect a hard disk. However the ps3 has more in that it has gaming and a blu ray player. I would go for a ps3 console any time. For a start its dlna compliant meaning i can stream media from my laptop to my stereo and TV. Second I watch youtube on it and just upgraded my hard disk to 500 Gb and need i add its blu ray capability and internal web browser .
