In response to what @Peter has said, maybe the distribution of the show(s) could be done via other mediums like DVD sets, a Website (<a href="http://buni.tv">buni.tv</a> maybe or something similar), perhaps a Youtube channel for starters, ftp downloads ...... <div>
<br></div><div>Schools and other educational institutions can be targeted. That way, you are not implicitly required to dumb-down the material while  reaching a substantially large audience all at once. <br><div><br></div>

I would most certainly postulate that he is forced to simplify it.<br><br></div>Larry Madowo used to have a very nice techie show, where he was not at liberty to dumb it down, and it was great! But, it was positioned at around mid day, who watches tv at that time really?<br>
