My organisation uses excel and most of its features are advanced, I really need those training I was about to go to IAT but this email came especeally building high end interractive dashboards

Why scorn the noble venture. There are numerous benefits of Advanced Excel features especially when dealing with large amounts of data. Say when migrating systems, sorting, conversions, statistics,graphing etc. Have a look at all the ready-click functions in Excel and try see how long it will take you to do the same in your languages.

And btw, not everyone is a programmer!
